Professional Experience:

Don Bobak had over thirty-five years of experience in advising domestic and international clients in various aspects of intellectual property. He focused his practice mainly on U.S. and international patent prosecution in both the chemical and mechanical arts, which provided patentability validity and infringement opinions for a variety of clients. Don’s work in the patent field included the chemical and mechanical arts as well as the textile arts where the technology often merges aspects of polymer chemistry with structural features. Other aspects of Don’s intellectual property spectrum included the handling of trademarks and licensing and related contract matters. He also provided his corporate clients with periodic seminars directed toward identification and protection of intellectual property rights.

Don’s professional memberships included the Akron Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, the American Bar Association, the Cleveland and American Intellectual Property Law Associations and the American Chemical Society.
