Renner, Kenner et al. was established as Ely and Frye in 1917 in Akron, Ohio. Since that time, we have been serving the intellectual property needs of individuals and companies in Northeast Ohio, the United States, and the world.

Statement of Practice

Renner Kenner et al concentrates its practice on U.S. and foreign patent, copyright and trademark law, licensing and secrecy agreements, antitrust and unfair competition law, couseling and litigation.

We provide a wide range of domestic intellectual property services including: procuring patents, trademark registrations, and copyright registrations; performing patent and trademark searches; preparing and negotiating licensing agreements, including software licensing; conducting patent and trademark right-to-use studies; patent and trademark infringement investigations; Trade Secret counseling; intellectual property legal and business counseling; and litigation and watch services.

We also work with foreign associates and law firms throughout the world. Members of the firm are members of various US and international professional organizations and participate in many conferences and meetings on intellectual property matters.
